Currently situated at Chitwan Medical College, Chitwan, Bharatpur, The QiMET centre Nepal is available as a central pivotal point for the business of QiMET International and to support trainee doctors in years 1 and 4 of their Fellowship programmes. QiMET Nepal has three roles:

Co-developing Post-graduate Fellowship curricula for the Fellowship programmes with QiMET International
Our QiMET Nepal team provide country wide support in the development of Fellowships that are fit for purpose for Nepal. Our QiMET International and QiMET Nepal team work closely together to ensure that doctors learn the skills to help in the transformation of health services in Nepal.

QiMET Nepal is our country centre that recruits trainees to our Fellowship programmes
QiMET Nepal works with QiMET international to run an evidence based recruitment strategy in line with the core Equality and Diversity values of the General Medical Council in the UK. Our recruitment is guided by the World Health Organisation guidance on ethical recruitment

Develop capacity and capability of supervisors in Nepal
QiMET Nepal is the hub that supports the training and development of Clinical Supervisors in Nepal. QiMET Nepal works closely with Dr Alisdair Strachan who leads on clinical supervision training from the UK.
